Small Groups

As connections are made in small groups, they form the foundation for a stronger congregation.

Men

MEN’S DISCUSSION GROUP gathers every other Friday at 7:30a in the M&M Café.  This group begins with a 20-minute video or reading which spurs on a 40 minute discussion. They end with breakfast at a local egg emporium. Contact: Dave Ford.

MEN’S BOOK GROUP meets the first Monday of each month at 7:00p in the M&M Café. Contact: Larry Lynn.

Women

PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN CIRCLE is a great way to study the Bible, meet interesting and caring women, support mission work, and enjoy new and old friendships. Miriam Circle meets the second Wednesday of the month at 9:30a.m. in the Michigan Room.  Contact: Bev Plagenhoef

WOMEN’S BOOK GROUP gathers on the second Sunday of the month at 1:00p in the M&M Café. Contact: Bev Plagenhoef

COMMON THREADS GROUP formerly known as the knitting and crocheting group has a new name!  We hope that “Common Threads” reflects the fact that all are welcome. All are welcome to join us the 3rd Monday of each month any time from 1-3pm in the Ontario room.  Feel free to work on a prayer shawl, bring a project of your choice, or just come for the fellowship.  Yarn is available. Come and go as you are able.  We hope you’ll join us!

Seasonal

DINNERS FOR 7 are small groups of people who gather in homes for a meal, conversation and fun! This is a great way to meet new people at FPC.

CHURCH RETREATS create an opportunity for learning, personal growth and deepening friendships in an environment away from the pace of every day living. During the late winter/early spring the Women’s Retreat takes place.

LENT SMALL GROUPS meet weekly for the 6 weeks of Lent. Up to 10 people gather for fellowship and learning. Often Lent small groups read a book together or dive deeper into the sermon scripture of the week. Groups meet at a variety of days, times & locations.

Music

STRING & WIND MUSICIANS welcome all ages and abilities. Meet seasonally.

ADULT CHOIR welcomes all voices!

Meets Wednesdays at 7:00p.

BELL CHOIR MUSICIANS welcome ringers of all ages and abilities. Meet seasonally.

To protect the privacy of our small group leaders, we have not included their contact information. If you have any questions, please refer to the Church Directory or contact the main office. Thank you!
